Bridled Mind treats individuals with varying mental and emotional conditions through equine-assisted therapy. This experiential method of psychotherapy dates back decades, and we want our patients to experience the powerful benefits. Through a series of equine-specific activities such as feeding, grooming, and exercising, you can identify and begin to work through life issues. We use the model set forth by the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association to instruct patients in solution-oriented, ground-based therapy.
In addition to equine therapy, Bridled Mind also treats patients with traditional and proven psychotherapy methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), child-centered play therapy, mindfulness, and mind-body bridging. We accept patients from all walks of life facing all kinds of challenges. Our goal is to help you heal from past hurts, find the power to change, and make the changes you want in your life.
